A woman’s intuition is extremely strong and deeply useful—but what’s the point of having such a powerful intuition if you’re not going to embrace it? We live in a world full of distractions, endless sources of information, and techniques to escape ourselves, all of which make listening to our intuition very difficult. But you need your intuition. You need to be able to feel when something is wrong or dangerous, as well as when something is meant for you and moving your life in a better direction.
In this article, you’ll learn ways you can begin to embrace and strengthen your intuition—whether in business or everyday life.

Create What Feels Pleasurable

There is a guilt that a lot of women have when it comes to doing things that feel good in their bodies. Sometimes you follow the world’s advice when it comes to creating something, but the only advice that truly matters is the one your body gives you.
For example, let’s say a super successful YouTuber says you should always keep your videos under 20 minutes—but you feel like you can’t fully express your message in that time. You know you want to create longer, deeper videos. Just do it. Trust your intuition. You may get fewer views, but the people who stay for the entire video—no matter how long it is—are the clients who will become your biggest supporters.

Don’t Follow Trends, Do What Feels Right

This is a dilemma so many content creators, business owners, and humans face every single day: Do I do what society likes right now, or do I stay true to myself? I’m here to tell you that you should always stay true to yourself.
Don’t do that trendy TikTok dance just to get more clients—the right, aligned clients will stay with you regardless of trends. Don’t buy that bag or piece of clothing just because everyone else is. Wear what you love and watch your confidence skyrocket.
I went through this myself. So many professional bloggers say you shouldn’t publish articles based on what you feel like writing, but instead look at what’s popular and write accordingly. This didn’t feel good to me. It took all the pleasure out of writing about things I’m passionate about, and I began to dread working on my blog. I decided it was better to write what my intuition was guiding me to write. I feel so happy and fulfilled trusting my intuition instead of following trends.

Create the Business Setup You Dream Of

What is a business? We all have an idea—whether it’s a huge high-rise building with endless offices, or a company that outperforms the S&P 500. That idea shapes how we think a business should run. Maybe you want to start a business, but the thought of managing a large team, going into an office every day, or pitching to investors scares you away.
Remember this: your business is your business—literally. You can create and mold it into any form you dream of. You don’t want a big team and instead prefer to hire three people? So what. You don’t want a personal brand or to be on camera all the time? Who cares. You dream of having a family and dread the idea of running your business from an office? That’s completely fine.
Get crystal clear on how your dream business would run, then go after it without looking back or listening to people who try to make you doubt yourself by pushing a different method.

Always Write Ideas Down When You First Get Them

Sometimes our best ideas come in the most unexpected moments. You could be skydiving, getting your nails done, or eating Chinese food when the most creative, unique idea pops into your mind. Write it down.
Imagine having an amazing idea and then forgetting it—don’t let that be you. This will be incredibly helpful when you feel creatively blocked or disconnected from your intuition. Chances are your intuition was speaking to you earlier, just in an indirect way, and you forgot to capture it.
Do this every time you get an idea, and you’ll always have a place to return to when it’s time to create.

Ask a Higher Power to Guide You

I love God, but I recognize that everyone believes in different things. I don’t care what your religion is, or whether you believe in the universe—I just want you to surrender to some kind of higher power. When you don’t surrender, you stress yourself out over things that are out of your control and begin to spiral. You’ll never hear your intuition from that place.
If you ever feel yourself spiraling, talk to a higher power. I promise things will always feel lighter afterward. You realize you don’t have to carry everything alone, and that the higher power you believe in cares about you deeply and loves you unconditionally.
Your intuition naturally comes forward when you surrender, because you’re no longer stuck in your head overanalyzing or overthinking—you’re simply being. Your intuition thrives in that state and flourishes when you count on and trust a higher power to guide you.

Remember That You Have Free Will

I love remembering that my life is my own and that I can do whatever I want. When you forget that you have free will, you begin to doubt your intuition. Your logical mind takes over completely. Logic isn’t bad—you just want balance. A fully logical life with no fun is simply boring.
Say you have an idea to create something no one has ever done before. Your intuition and logical mind will go to war. Your intuition will be screaming at you to try something different, while your logical mind lists every reason why it won’t work.
Remember this: your life is not dictated by someone else’s path. If your intuition is telling you something, there’s a reason. Even if it doesn’t work out, I guarantee there was something you needed to learn from listening to it.

Don’t Copy Anyone Else

You are a unique individual. You were raised in a unique environment, you have one-of-a-kind experiences, and your values and beliefs will never 100% match someone else’s—so why copy them?
You have an authentic way of expressing yourself, and when you copy someone else, you lose the opportunity to attract what’s truly aligned with you. You also teach your intuition to quiet itself, because you’re showing it that you won’t listen anyway—you’ll let others lead instead.
That’s not what I want for you. I want you deeply connected to your intuition. One of the best ways to do that is by being fully yourself.
Wear your hair the way it feels best to you. Wear clothes you genuinely love. Create business offerings that reflect what you’re uniquely passionate about. Don’t copy others—because when you do, you weaken your connection to your intuition.
